Creative junior UX designer and researcher based in Ann Arbor, MI.
I’m a passionate creator born in Beijing, China and now living in Michigan. I’m also a first-year graduate student at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, studying UX design and research.
Since an early age, I have fallen in love with the feeling of creating anything out of my own hands. I have been an active street photographer for more than 3 years and am constantly trying out new creative approaches such as digital painting and video filming. I sometimes get so obsessed with my creation that I spend hours and hours trying to finalize them. Currently, I am interested in UX design and I’ve been playing mainly with Figma & Photoshop. I enjoy the process of creating something out of the blue and continuously polishing it to the point that it becomes a masterpiece.
The greatest contribution I can bring to the job is to coordinate between developers, designers, and engineers to push forward a certain product. Since I have an engineering background from my undergraduate learning and a UX research & design background for my graduate learning, it will be easier for me to understand the developing and engineering techniques used in the development team. This gives me the advantage of being able to translate the languages used in these three production teams and create a fluid workflow for the entire production process.
